Everything taste sweeter in the Lord’s presence.
I guess you will never know what is on the other side of the world unless you made the journey across and I don’t want to be the kinds living in darkness. I choose Light. So if one day I made it to the other side and still remember what it is like to come back, I will have proudly say and agree that I have made it back. And that I am back for good.
So I will work hard to forget you. And maybe, if God decides it be, maybe we shall meet again.
And because I love you, I want you to have every blessing in the world. And because I love you, and because I want you to have every blessing in the world, I want you to have The Best in the World. And because I love you, and because I want you to have every blessing in the world, and because I want you to have The Best in the World, I want you to discover my visions for yourself. And because of all these, I shall let you go.
And because I want The Best for you, I cannot even allow myself to be the little black dot on the white screen.

Nothing is sweeter than the love voice of my father.
My Father reminded me that He wants me to be well. That to be sick is a sin, which is to be short of the mark that He set for me. He aims for my life to be perfect and healthy. Even though my flesh wants to be sick and remain helpless, and tired, so that I can hide and avoid the rest of the world, MY FATHER loves me so much He wants to heal me, to carry me to the top of the world, to bring me in the light once again, because He Loves Me.
Jesus wants me to come to Him for healing, He tells me, unless I allow Him to, I have no part with Him. Stunnnnned! And I don’t want to have no part with God! How can I because I am in Jesus Christ today! But I am quite happy with my life now, being sick and having people around me to love and pamper me (showing me Grace). But no! Unless I allow Jesus to “wash my feet, to serve you, to give to you, to save you, to heal you”, I have no part with Him. He wants to come to me, to wash me, to clear my debts, to serve me, to bring me to the highest. He wants MY peace and joy to come from HIM. Even when I am fallen, He wants to rescue me. He wants Himself to be the only Savior in my life. There should be no other one. Because only His providence will last forever and multiply in abundance. Other sources of happiness and peace will just last for a lifetime. (And you would think that’s long enough) But His last for eternity, even after you have gone to be with Him. This is My God. My Jesus. We Give Him Praise.
I can be alone physically. But I am never alone. Because my God is with me. Because Jesus is in me. Because Angels are watching over me.
I can be sick physically, but my Spirit is alive and fiery with Life in the Holy Spirit. And today, I shall suffer no diseases, be not under the attack of any virus or share a relationship with any bacteria, because JESUS CHRIST HAS PAID FOR IT. And because He has paid for it, I REFUSE to have it. Give Him Glory! Don’t let His Works go to waste! Today, I am seated in Him at the Right Hand of my Majestic Father, and He is well pleased in me. Because I have believed and therefore inherit all his riches and treasures of His Kingdom. He is well pleased for I have submitted to His Word, for I have respected His Commands, thru believing in THE ONE JESUS CHRIST. And therefore I am fit to be an heir to His treasures. Love, joy, peace, righteousness, divine health, prosperity, fulfilling and loving relationships with people, favorsssssssss under the right people and the right circumstances, the truth and the light…
In the U.S. room, I have a list of my treasures pinned to my study table. I want to know how much I have, I want to know my inheritance. Like a merchant counting his gold, everyday I would look at it and realize I have all these treasures from my Abba, my Father. You never know how rich you are until you start counting.
Praise God. Praise Jesus!

The Rat Year
This coming Chinese New Year, which I won't be home for, is the Rat year! It's my year and I'm going to be 24! I've waited for this year since I passed 12 years old and realised the 12-year cycle of the Chinese Zodiac, and I'm not looking forward to age 36, so.... better enjoy it while I can! Same goes out to all 24-year-old Ratties!
Happy double birthday for this is Your Year!
Oh, the Rat Year, being the smartest, oh well, the fastest runner of the cohort, is also the first Sign of the Chinese Zodiac. Well, welcome to a new cycle!
River HongBao looks exciting. Boo. Wish I could be there.
Exciting stuff to look forward: Beijing Olympics 2008 :D

The Local News
After I return from church camp, I was able to settle down and one of the few most important things I was told strongly (by God?) to do was to care about what has been going on in Singapore, to catch up with the local news. Along the way, I forgot my errand to get a copy of The Straits Times. And then I was hardly home.
These past days, my incoming dates slowed. I am winding up my stay here. Plus I caught the flu bug. I confessed the Word. But I think, right now, I am fine with the way I am. Especially since it allowed me to stay home more often, refocused my attention to home activities, one of which is to watch TV.
So, like my dad, before/during/after dinner are my favorite times to turn on to either of the 3 channels (U, 5, 8) and catch some or half of the news. I figured I could always tune to Channel NewsAsia for a 24-hr live broadcast. Eh... but its not true leh...
Another alternative is to go online. Straits Times Interactive got some pretty good FREE stuff, unlike last time. I could get quite a few video news and podcasts. A scan through their headlines and I see how much I've missed the past 4 months.
My love affair with the news started when I was in my late teens. I decided I want to KNOW THE NEWS. I also decided it was an "adult" thing to do. I was determined. I ordered the Straits Times in paper form and never read it consecutively for more than 5 days. There were days I could be glued to the paper for 2 hours, and there were "dry periods" when I just didn't have time. The newspapers collected under the table, untouched, and my mum called it a waste. Soon, she cancelled the subscription. Inside me screamed, "NOOOOOOO!!!" --- it was taking away a child's favorite toy.
I decided I won't give up. I managed to convince my friend to subscribe STInteractive for $120/a yr for my birthday present. I don't know how I manage to do that... but I think it was by God's Grace (wasn't saved then, but nevertheless, God's angels were already watching over me). So I got a year's access to ST Interactive, pretty exciting, but it still didn't keep me constantly in tune with the news. Then I tried their mailing lists. Still, it didn't work. I would find it so boring to be fed news consistently and such hard work to follow news and my attention tuned out pretty fast. So I gave up.
My last semester in the United States, you would notice from my blog, I blog mostly about my Journalism class among all my classes. Through that class, I spent more time analysing news articles, learnt to write one myself, learnt about the different types of news media. In the U.S., I experienced the same hunger to be "connected with the local happenings". I don't know if people who watch the news take it this way or maybe they do, but for me, if there is no motivation or aim or it is not some uncontrollable act of habit, I guess I wouldn't be bothered. Maybe I just take news-watching too seriously. :)
I collected the New York Times and USA Today but soon that routine phased out. It was during this period of time my lecturer introduced us to broadcast news and had us do assignments from broadcasts. My new TV came. There was this channel that looked a lot like the "Channel NewsAsia" here --- CNN. Sometimes I would leave the CNN on the whole time I was cooking/eating/doing housework/chugging the Internet. Then somebody said CNN broadcast mostly news in the whole country, not Buffalo. My lecturer introduced us to Channel 2 (?), Channel 4(?) for local news. They report pretty silly stuff sometimes.
I really like the commentaries. Sometimes they repeat the episodes and I would still savor every word and every question asked and wonder how did they do it so intelligently. It was like stilling time, letting your whole body welcome the full impact of goodness, pleasure, enigma... In the movies, time would be slowed in the scene like a man standing still and a wall of fire comes charging towards him and he is thrown backwards, a little off-balanced.
So I have tried, what? 3 mediums? Print, Web and Broadcast. Still like broadcast the best. Keeps my attention tuned to its fullest potential...
So anyway, I said all these to tell you that I read the Web news and realised MC King died! AH! SO SAD!!
And I left a comment at Jack Neo's blog.

Asking for Forgiveness
After reading the New Creation Church Daily Devotional…
Andrea has asked for forgiveness for the holding-back in her soul. She felt as if her Spirit has been poisoned. She wants to be the carefree, joyous character, the character full of life and spirit! Restrained by nothing! No one can hold her back! Because CHRIST IS FREEDOM. (yfatbuffalo.blogspot.com)
Andrea confessed the Word of God halfway between waking and sleeping. Because the Devil started attacking her with silly thoughts and keeping her awake after a loo trip. So she confessed the Word and fell promptly asleep.
When she confessed the Word, it doesn’t matter how she felt at that moment, it doesn’t matter who she believed more at that moment, it doesn’t matter who she was leaning on more at that moment (it was the Devil more at that moment), it doesn’t matter, because ONCE she has confessed God’s Words, she gave weight to God's Words, and armies of God’s angels came swarming to her, filling her with God’s love and God’s righteousness. Her feelings did a 180 degrees switch.
The MIRACLE is in your mouth.
Andrea understands that she cannot find back the yesterday. She cannot feel it. But it doesn’t mean God will not give it to her. Therefore she asks God for it.

Random 2
If you don’t stop looking at all the ugliness, you’ll never find yourself beautiful. That is what Christ is here for. To remove all your ugliness, to let you see Him, to see His Beauty instead, so that you know you are truly made in the image of God, the most high, the most perfect human.
The Apostle Paul warned that when His Word shines forth, do not fail to hear it. When Grace is given to us, do not fail to receive it. And when God send His angels to you, do not ignore them.

Ouch it hurts me so much to scold you. Even more than when you hurt me. Like I said, I shall not be bothered with you until you get over yourself, cos I don’t want to be hurting myself more by being hot and bothered with you. And when I say I’m not going to be bothered with you, I mean it.

Before Meal Prayers (16Dec)
On the train back from Malaysia... thought of some variations in prayer for before meals...
Thank you Lord for this delicious meal set before me. It is such a blessing having food given by you, made by you and owned by you. So that it is good, and the food is good that it will recharge our bodies and give us the nutrition we need. In Jesus mighty name, amen.
Thank you Lord for this wonderful meal set before me. You prepare a table me in the presence of my enemies and I shall enjoy my food and bring glory to you. In jesus mighty name, amen.
Thank you Lord for this precious set before me. Not by my works, not by my strength you have made man rule above all animals, so our bodies may be recharged from their stored energy. Thank you Lord, in Jesus mighty name, amen.
Thank you Lord for this wonderful meal set before me. I say this prayer of thanksgiving to acknowledge that physical food for the body comes from you. And food for the spirit comes listening to your word. In Jesus mighty name, amen.
When Jesus returns and we have new bodies, we will no longer need food for the body. Because we have you.

One thing about our God.
We do not seek to understand His commands but just know, just have faith, just put faith in Him that ALL THINGS work out for the good of our Life. Everything else is fuzzy except for His Command, ringing loud and clear in our heads.
If you hear a voice today, telling you to choose a path, make a decision, take an action, and you feel at peace with it, thank that voice, and attribute it to the Most High. It might not be His voice, but it might certainly be one of His angels, sent to you the very moment you are born, to watch over you, to be your guardian. When you attribute it to Him, you will almost immediately feel an immense joy, lifting you up. This is your Spirit tuning itself with the Holy Spirit and feeling very lightweight. Because Jesus’ yoke is light and His burden is light. (Matthew 11:29-30)
If this is you, you have taken the very first step to receiving the Messiah. Trust that when you see more of Him, you will be amazed at how easily you have walk on the high plane, and Reign in Life. And you can see more of Him by hooking up with a very good church, listening to sermons, taking notes, reading the Bible, memorising and chewing on scriptures and best of all, reuniting with the Body of Christ, who is commonly known as “Christians”.

We are the Generation to change things.
Today I realise we are the Generation to change things.
In Asia. We are the Generation. Pastor Prince has prepared the way… opened our minds to many of the Gospel truths. And so preparing our Generation to change our society.
I look at people my age and I see Christ as their Savior. I look at the previous generation, and I see a past era, like black and white TV, a past era who needs to be infiltrated with our Generation, with fresh blood, with the sacrificial blood of JESUS.
Bless me Lord.
It occurred to me today that our Lord loves to be depended on. When we depend on Him, when we come to Him, for all our needs, great and small, He loves it. He loves us, His children coming to Him and needing Him. I think we can see the same kind of relationship from our parents and us. Our parents need something from us too. They want our dependence on them. In exchange of acknowledging our dependence on them, they will let us free. In retro respect to fighting for freedom, our parents fight to know freedom is granted by them. And that everything else that we need is granted by them. Including freedom, yes. And in actual fact, that is kinda true in a sense. Who do we want freedom from? Decision-making rights about clothing, about our partners. From our parents. Who did we first depend on? Who fed us? Who taught us to bath and walk? Our parents. If we didn’t first depended on them, we need not fight to be established away from them. So kids, acknowledge the fact that you NEED them. They will see your maturity and let you go. Maybe it is like Thanksgiving too. Be thankful to the Lord (and your parents) and MORE will be added to you. Acknowledge that you have and MORE shall be added to you. Matthew 25:29 For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but whoever who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. AMEN. First, know what you have and more will be given to you. First know what you have had from your parents (plenty of care), and more (freedom) will be given to you. Worship His Presence and all your worries/troubles shall fade away.
Bless us Lord, bless our relationship Lord. Bless our relationship Lord.
There is a sermon on my table titled, weirdly, “Parenting with Grace”. Titles’ weird. Parenting is not at all overlapping my life. If “parenting” and “my life” were in a venn diagram, they would be 2 mutually exclusive circles. Perhaps a small dog would pronounce the union of Set A and Set B.
I don’t know why every time she asked, I managed to dodge it so perfectly, artfully, skillfully, so peacefully. I must be a dodge ball in my past life.

Absolute Power in our family life
Father, unveil to me truths that I need to know so that I will be set free. I pray this prayer because I still have areas of bondage in my life. but praise God when I look at the cross, he is the Truth, the Light and the Way to Freedom!
A thought crossed my mind before I slept last night. The truth that God gave the Ten Commandments to show our lack. It is the same way parents give out rules and whip out disciplinary actions to show our disobedience, our faults, where we fall short so that we come to them, humble and apologetic, so that we need them. So that they feel power from our helplessness.
But power is not used like this. Power is used like Abba. Power is used for forgivence. Power is used when the one in absolute power, sacrificed something from himself, maimed a part of himself so that he could see now, the vulnerable part of himself as on equal standing with his imperfect children and so look past their faults and still love them wholesomely. That is, the greatest love.
I see my dad as a perfect man. But one thing he lacks, “give up everything and follow Jesus.”

Found a way to stop time.
Dwell in the Love of the Lord. Dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High. Question is will we want to do it? Most often, we think the pressing deadlines leaves no time for plunging into wholeness in a complete body and soul experience with the Lord. But it is untrue. In fact, you have more time.
In the Lord’s presence, time feels eternal. There are no more deadlines, no stress, no next appointment. Bathing in the Lord’s glory is everything you need. Worshipping Him is all you can do. Your Spirit feels One with Him, your body and soul is arrested and held in vacuum and bathed with the Glory of the Lord.
After the Lord lets your body and soul return to earthly environments, your Spirit is anew. Your mind is sharp and you have the body of a 10-year-old. Thanking the Lord at this moment, you weep as your body shivers from all the perfection He has bestowed upon your earthly body.
I want to sing to the Lord. Sing to the Lord like a child. Like a child He is most proud of. For all the Love He gives, singing His praises pleases Him.
Jesus’ blood cleanses our sins constantly. And so does our bodies gets renewed constantly as our Spirit is born again.
I realise I’m luckiest girl in the world. To be found and saved by the Lord. To be crazy over Him and to worship Him. ‘Cos so many in this world needs Him yet doesn’t have Him.
Therefore He is all we need. Amen.

Prayer
My god is the greatest, today I rest in him and Jesus’ finished works at the Calvary. Jesus’ sacrifice is the greatest sacrifice ever made so that today our sins are not just covered by the blood of bulls and lambs but REMOVED eternally. So that we may forever walk right with god because it is a given, it is a covenant, it is made right b the blood of God’s Beloved Son. And as we walk in the Light as He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another and His blood cleanses us from all sins! Continuously cleansing! We are called to have unite with the body of Christ and be cleansed continuously from our sins. So let us not judge the other parts of the body of Christ. Let us unite and ONE CHURCH. In jesus name, amen.
They call Moses the Deliverer. But now Lord, we have You to deliver us.
